Subitize or instantly recognize the numbers on a die without counting
Learning to count objects assigning only one counting number word to each counted object
Understanding the last number counted represents the set as a whole
Comparing two numbers to tell which amount is more and which amount is less
Estimated Time: Take-Home Activity
During this take home activity, children will work to use images of bikes and a dot cube to count objects as a whole group and compare their set to another set using more/less. Children will also practice subitizing a dot cube to know how many bikes to add to their set without counting the dots.
