Science Content:

Plants and animals need to survive, grow and reproduce. They have specific structures and functions to maintain their survival.

Animals and plants have adaptations for many different needs based on where they live and what they need to survive.

 

Estimated Time: 1-2 class periods

 

Science Tasks with Otis and Flask are designed to help 3rd to 5th grade students revisit and build upon critical science concepts. These centers within the program complement your existing curriculum as lead-ins or follow ups to the science topics.

During this lesson, students discover how plant and animal survival depends on specific structures and functions based on their ecosystem.
